Scholarships:

We know that when it comes to paying for college many students are at a loss. A great first step is to familiarize yourself with local community scholarships. We have listed some great scholarships below, but this is not an exhaustive list. Check out Unigo, FastWeb and California Colleges to learn more about scholarship opportunities you may be eligible for. 

 

Immigrants Rising Scholarships and Fellowships

Get a complete list of 344 undergraduate and 302 graduate/post-graduate scholarships and fellowships that do not require proof of citizenship or legal permanent residency (425 are open to individuals who don’t have DACA).
 
MALDEF Scholarships (for undocumented students)

57th Assembly District Writing Contest-

Three High School senior students will receive $1,000 scholarship. Contestants must be present during the Virtual College & Career Fair to be awarded a scholarship.

 

DEADLINE: August 25, 2021

You MUST respond to BOTH writing Prompts.

1. Think about an academic subject that inspires you. Describe how you have

furthered this interest inside and/or outside of the classroom.

2. Every person has a creative side, and it can be expressed in many ways: problem

solving, original and innovative thinking, and artistically, to name a few. Describe

how you express your creative side.
