Welcome to my page on our school website. If you are viewing this page you are interested in information on the classes I teach and maybe a little about my experience. I am more than happy to share with you my passion for teaching Literature to Norwalk's juniors and seniors. Literature has changed and enriched my life in so many ways and I find it my life's passion to open up this world to our youth. Junior and senior year of high school are pivotal in the life journey of our children: I consider it a privilege to guide them in this process.
I'm a graduate of Occidental College (B.A. in English and Comparative Literary Studied) and more recently of Concordia University at Irvine (Master's in Education). It has been a wonderful journey to explore literature and writing with students for 23 years in two school districts.
I have taught everything from sheltered students (recent immigrants), grades 9-12 in the Regular program, Honors 9 and 10 in a College Prep Academy, as well as AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature.
For more specific information on curriculum for each course I currently teach please visit the page containing a very detailed syllabus.
