My name is Caytlin Ward. For the last 5 years, I have taught Language Arts. This school year is my first at Norwalk High School, and I am so thankful to be part of the amazing Lancer family!
Currently, I am working with sophomore and senior students to promote the growth of their real world communications skills through literary studies. I offer after school tutoring in my classroom most days of the week, and always by appointment. Throughout the school year, I encourage students to take advantage of the many field trip experiences offered at Norwalk H.S., especially the college tours.
The majority of my communication to students and guardians takes place through Schoology, and guardians are welcome to ask for course add codes.
My college experiences include attending Fullerton Community College to obtain Associates Arts degrees in Humanities and Performing Arts, and an Associates of Science degree in Anthropology. In 2012, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in History, and Single Subject Credential at California State University Fullerton.
I love to travel, work on my classic car, and, of course, READ in my spare time. My dogs are a constant source of humor in my life, and frequently make their way into my teacher created samples.
